What Verity does for you

Three things happening for your home.

One is live today. Two more are in active development.

🌡️ Your home, measuredLive

Temperature, humidity, and occupancy measured continuously. If your home is colder or damper than it should be, your housing association knows about it and can act — without you having to make a complaint first.

🌱 Your energy, rewardedComing

We’re developing a way for participation in green energy events to earn real bill credit, paid directly against your account. This is on our roadmap and not yet available — we’ll update this page when it is.

⚡ Your safety, protectedComing

We’re developing a safeguard for prepayment meter customers so support can be triggered before a balance runs critically low. This is on our roadmap and not yet available.

How it works

Connected once. Running quietly from there.

You don’t set this up. Your housing association does.

01 · Your association introduces Verity

You’ll receive a leaflet, letter, or message explaining what Verity is and asking if you’d like to take part. No pressure.

02 · A small sensor is installed

Battery-powered. No wiring, no electrician. Placed discreetly — usually a utility room, hallway, or bedroom — in under an hour.

03 · Your home is monitored

Temperature, humidity, and occupancy measured in the background. If something looks wrong, your housing association is notified so they can follow up.

Your privacy

What we measure. What we don’t.

✅ What Verity measures

Temperature. Humidity. Occupancy (whether a room is in use, not who is in it). Energy usage where smart meter data is available.

❌ What Verity doesn’t measure

No cameras. No audio. No tracking of individuals. No personal behaviour data. No data sold to third parties. Ever.

🔒 Who sees the data

Your housing association sees property-level conditions, flagged where there’s a welfare concern. Processed under UK GDPR. You can ask to withdraw at any time.

Frequently asked questions

Questions from tenants.

Do I have to take part?
No. Participation is voluntary. Your housing association will introduce Verity and explain what it involves. You can say no, and that won’t affect your tenancy or any other service.
Does this cost me anything?
Nothing. Verity is provided by your housing association. There is no charge to tenants at any point.
Do I need to switch energy supplier?
No. Verity works with whatever supplier you are already with. Nothing changes on your supply side.
What about bill credits and prepayment protection?
These are features we are actively developing, not yet part of the live service. We’ll announce here when they’re available. Today, Verity monitors your home’s conditions so your association can act on cold or damp before it becomes a complaint.
Is my data private?
Yes. No cameras, no audio, no personal tracking. Your housing association sees property-level conditions — not personal behaviour. Data is processed under UK GDPR and never sold.
